The Kennewick Police Department visited B5 earlier in May to share a meal with our families. They brought hot dogs and hamburgers, plenty of stickers and gifts for the kids, and spent time chatting with our families. This was a great opportunity for our community members to get to know police officers and learn how officers serve and care our community. Some of our high school students even had the chance to ask officers about their career pathway.
Everyone enjoyed spending time in community. We loved seeing new and old friends and having the chance to catch up over a meal. Check out the photos below! It was an evening filled with big smiles and fun.
Thank you Kennewick Police Department, KPD Foundation, and Citizens Helping in Police Services (CHIPS) for making the evening so special for our families! We can’t wait to do it again!
